MOONG DAL IDLI
Ingredients:
30g yellow moong dal (split and skinned)
Water as required
A pinch of salt (optional)
Method:
Soak moong dal in water for 2–3 hours.
Drain the water and grind into a smooth batter using minimal water.
Add a pinch of salt if desired.
Grease idli molds and pour the batter into them.
Steam for 10–12 minutes on medium flame or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let it cool slightly before demolding.
